Franklin Goes Blue Walk

Franklin City Department of Social Services will be hosting our second annual Franklin City Goes Blue Walk on June 16th at 3pm, with a Rain Date scheduled for June 21st at 3pm. Please wear Royal Blue (the official color of Child Abuse Prevention) and meet us on the City Hall steps at 3pm on June 16th and walk with us! We will leave from City Hall and head up to High Street, over to South Street and end up at Barrett’s Landing. We will then leave Barrett’s Landing and head to the DSS building where we will be cooking out hotdogs and raffling off some great prizes, including Tides Baseball tickets. A hotdog combo with chips and a drink will be $3 and then raffle tickets are available for $1, with all proceeds going to our continued Child Abuse Prevention efforts here within the City of Franklin. If you would like to order one of our 2016 Child Abuse Prevention tshirts for $12 (featuring a design drawn by one of our SP Morton Elementary students) please contact Jennifer at 757-562-8602 to place your order.
