The Franklin Fire & Rescue Department employs 10 career staff and approximately 50 active
volunteers and junior Fire Cadets. Operating out of Downtown Station 1 and Pretlow Auxiliary Station 1A, the department deploys 3 Pumper/Engines, 1 Ladder Truck, 1 Heavy Rescue truck, 1 Technical Rescue/Support trailer, a Rescue Boat, and 5 Medic/EMS Units. The department responds to approximately 2,500 calls per year, in addition to providing public education and training opportunities.Contact: 562-8581
